Industrial Ethernet Certification not only proves an individual’s Ethernet skills, but demonstrates a breadth of knowledge which encompasses fieldbus and real-time technologies, TCP/IP in industrial environments, industrial network management, network security, wireless LANs, structured cabling and network design, and the stringent demands of mission-critical industrial networks. Certification is possible on three different qualification levels, each of which builds on the level before. Candidates are required to pass exams to verify their level of competence. The necessary knowledge can be acquired by individual study or in group training courses offered by Hirschmann.
